  • SAFE FOR COLORED AND KERATIN TREATED HAIR, WON’T STRIP. Preserve your treatment and protect your investment with this Sulfate-free and sodium chloride-free shampoo and conditioner set. Just what you’ve been searching for.
  • PREMIUM INGREDIENTS, CRUELTY-FREE, CRAFTED IN THE USA. Why shop any further? Sure there are cheaper Moroccan argan oil products (made in China), but LuxeOrganix puts your health and safety first. It contains no salt, sulfates, sodium chloride, parabens, gluten, drying alcohols, or phthalates.
  • PERFECT FOR CURLY, FRIZZY, OR DRY HAIR. See and feel the difference…stop wasting money on products you won’t use. No one wants a sea of unused bottles stuffed under the sink. Now you can buy with confidence and get the results you want.

Step 1: Saturate your hair with warm water and massage your scalp to break up sediment and product residue before applying your shampoo.

Step 2: While your hair is still saturated, apply the shampoo and massage your scalp using the same technique your hairdresser uses when you go to your salon. Starting at the scalp is vital. Like your hairdresser, spend 3 minutes on your scalp. It’s not just an impromptu scalp massage. Scrubbing the scalp helps remove dirt, sebum, and build-up that collects there. Spending less than three minutes is like quickly running a mop over a dirty floor rather than scrubbing the grime off. Ewww.

IMPORTANT TIP… most people miss this!

Step 3: Thoroughly rinse the shampoo from your scalp and hair. Make sure to really rinse your hair. Any residue from the shampoo will make your hair feel heavy or unclean.
You may want to shampoo twice if you use styling products, dry shampoos, if your hair is thick or coarse, or if you go several days between washing and have extra build-up. The second shampoo really lifts the impurities and cleans your hair. Plus you’ll find the second shampoo lathers up more easily.

Step 4:  Gently squeeze your hair to drain the excess water before using a conditioner. Your hair can become more brittle, susceptible to tangles, and prone to breakage if you skip the conditioner. We recommend using LuxeOrganix Argan Oil Conditioner with this shampoo.

ANOTHER GREAT TIP… don’t miss this, either!

Step 5: Rinse until your hair feels fully clean, and there’s no slippery texture. Thoroughly rinsing your hair is a critical last-step to your washing routine as it removes excess shampoo and conditioner, which can weigh your hair down.

Why Our Customers Our Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo

Absolutely AMAZING!

This product works so well on my hair. I have a keratin treatment and it’s hard to find shampoos without sulfates and sodium chloride, but this one has neither. I had previously ordered the Pureology Hydrate and when I received it, found that while it didn’t have sulfates, it did have sodium chloride, not to mention smelled like menthol, yuk! Needless to say, I returned it.

So once again, I was on the hunt and stumbled onto this brand. After only ONE shampoo, (I used the shampoo, conditioner, and style cream) my hair is AMAZINGLY soft! Oh and the smell, it’s divine! Smells like an orange creamsicle! The price is affordable too since you don’t need very much product at all (maybe a nickel size) of each product, so I expect this to last me awhile.

For reference, I have VERY thick, coarse, wavy, colored treated, shoulder length hair with a three month old keratin treatment. My keratin treatments last 4 months and I will never go back to using a flat iron. So happy I found a GREAT product line to use on my hair now!

Ask & Answer

Is this shampoo sodium free? - Laura

Hi, Laura. It is free of sodium chloride, which is the primary reason people are concerned about “sodium” being in shampoo. Sodium Chloride can be the cause of dry and itchy scalp in addition to hair loss, and also should be avoided if you do keratin treatments, as it can undo the process faster.

That said, we have some other ingredients that include the word, “sodium,” but they are not the same as Sodium Chloride, and they are not harmful. For example, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (is a non-sulfate, derived from coconut & palm oils); Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (is a gentle surfactant based on coconut fatty acids); and Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate (is a mild surfactant and foaming agent derived from the coconut fatty acid amide of N-methyltaurine).

Hope this was helpful!

I need color safe product(s) to help with oil control. What combo would you recommend? -Bonnie

Hi, Bonnie! I would encourage you to give the LuxeOrganix Rejuvenating Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner combo a try.

The sulfate-free argan oil shampoo does a very thorough job of cleansing your hair, and the conditioner provides hydration and softens hair. Both are color-safe.

As for help with oil control, I would recommend that when applying the conditioner that you avoid applying it to your roots, and just focus on applying it to the rest of your hair. Also, we include a pdf user guide with your purchase, so you can have a look through that for more detailed instructions and best tips to achieve a great results.

You’re also welcome to reach out to us for personal assistance; we’re delighted to help! If you have any other questions, please feel free to message us directly at help@luxeorganix.com.

Does this product have eucalyptus in it? -Carrie

Hi, Carrie. Our Argan Oil shampoo and conditioner do not have eucalyptus in them. And they smell like orange creamsicle!

Is Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate safe for keratin treated hair or too harsh? - Belinda

Hello, Belinda! Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate is safe for keratin-treated hair. You want to avoid Sodium Laurel Sulfate (SLS) and Sodium Chloride if you’ve had a keratin treatment (or any color or chemical treatments), as it is known to strip hair and the treatments.

Our products are free from SLS and Sodium Chloride, and are safe for keratin and other hair treatments. We have many customers who use our products specifically because they are safe and work great with keratin treated hair.

Just to give you some context, though Sodium Laurel Sulfate, Sodium Chloride, and Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate look and sound very similar, they are not the same. Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate is a natural product, made from coconut oil, and is derived from sarcosine, a natural amino acid found in the human body and just about every type of biological material from animals to plants.

Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate is only similar to sodium lauryl sulfate in that they’re both surfactants, but that’s about where it ends. A comprehensive safety assessment published in the International Journal of Toxicology deemed that sodium lauroyl sarcosinate was not expected to be potentially toxic or harmful, and had no mutagenic, irritating, or sensitizing effects.

We chose sodium lauroyl sarcosinate because it’s very mild, but also very effective. What’s more, it’s included in the Handbook of Green Chemicals and is also Whole Foods Premium Body Care approved — two stamps of approval that validate our confidence in the safety and sustainability of this ingredient.

I hope this helps! Please feel free to reach out to us directly with any other questions you have at help@luxeorganix.com

Is this safe on keratin treatment straight permed hair, is it anti-dandruff and is it both of men and women? -Lachele

Hello, Lachele! Yes, it is safe for keratin treated and chemically treated (permed) hair. We have had many of our customers tell us that it has helped decrease or eliminate their itchy or flaking (dandruff) scalp.

Though we primarily advertise our products toward women, it works just as well for men. We have many families who use our argan oil shampoo and conditioner set.

If you have any other questions now or after you begin to use our products, please feel free to reach out to us help@luxeorganix.com.
